The Fingerprint Method was developed by TNO as a basis for making rough initial estimates for various forms of impact. Indeed, determining the potential in a broad sense for steps towards circular products and business models is a complicated activity, while it is increasingly indicated by stakeholders that it would be desirable to have a quick & dirty method available to discuss circular potential.
